About the event
On February 11, 2026, the scientific center “Smart technologies for sustainable development of the urban environment in the context of global changes” of ATI RUDN University will organize an international scientific seminar “Methodological aspects of soil research”. The event will be held in a mixed format on the Yandex Telemost platform. The working language is Russian.
In modern scientific research of an ecological nature, the methods of sampling, sample preparation and analysis of results largely determine the quality and value of the researchers’ work. In the context of soil research, due to the high heterogeneity of the object, the issue of sample collection planning is particularly pressing. The seminar will present an overview and practical examples of soil sampling strategies.
