About the event

November 20, 2018, a meeting of the International Expert Board (IEB), created to promote the development of the university in the framework of RUDN’s participation in the national project to improve the competitiveness of leading universities of the Russian Federation among the world's leading scientific and educational centers (Project 5-100).

Experts are planning to discuss the main results and prospects in key scientific areas of RUDN University (mathematics, chemistry and modern languages), new approaches to the organization of the educational process (e.g.modular education and the ability to vary the curricula) and new educational projects (massive open on-line courses (MOOC) and interdisciplinary approach to educational activities).

The International Expert Board includes prominent specialists in the field of higher education. Jan Sadlak, member of the International Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence of the IREG, Doctor Honoris Causa of RUDN; Willy Jäger, Professor at the University of Ruprecht and Karl, Wolf Ferdinand Wieland, Professor at the University of Regensburg, Piotr Dutkiewicz, Professor at the University of Carleston and Stefan Ngo May, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.
