August 2, 2016. RUDN Rector Vladimir Filippov met with the delegation from University of Carthage headed by Rector El Assaad Asmi.
In July 2016 RUDN Law students were trained at the University named after Patrice Lodron in Salzburg, Austria. Within two weeks future lawyers took part in intensive program of 16th “Summer School”.
The project features lectures and practical classes held by scientists of the leading universities of the USA (TOP-60 QS), Australia (TOP-50 QS), Netherlands (TOP-150 QS), Italy and professors of RUDN Agrarian-technological Institute.
INC project was held in Switzerland in Lucerne this year. The competition was attended by 24 countries, including Singapore, the US, Japan, Russia, Australia, Slovakia, Italy, Scotland, England, Indonesia, India, Germany, Switzerland.
August 19, the bravest, strongest and most charismatic competed at the “Mister Building Team” contest. This year 6 participants from Zambia, Russia, Congo, Madagascar and Cote d’Ivoir competed.
RUDN Student Council participates in preparation of XIX World Youth and Students Festival in Sochi.
Artificially grown plants after putting into soil rapidly stop growing. They are very small, feeble, unable to reach water with their roots. Weeds shade and oppress them quickly. It did not work.
Formula Student RUDN team brilliantly performed in Formula Student EAST in Hungary. The team performed best of all in static disciplines, prepared a report on the cost of the bolide, feasibility study and solved a special task, which allowed them to take 15th place.

July 28, 2016, Roscosmos state corporation and RUDN University signed an agreement on long term strategic cooperation.
July 27, SCO experts on cooperation in education finished meetings in SCO Secretariat, Beijing. The Russian delegation comprising officials of the RF Ministry of education and science and RUDN University dtaff members took an active part in the work of the expert group.
