QS University Rankings: BRICS 2018 results are published. RUDN has risen 21 positions to occupy the 78th place (last year it was 99th). RUDN is number 17 among 96 Russian HEIs in the ranking.
18 October, the XLII of RUDN A-students brought together 867 students from Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Europe, USA and Canada with excellent academic performance. The guest of honor was RAS academician, Chair of the Moscow Society of obstetricians-gynecologists M.Kurtser.
September 8, RUDN opened a new facility - co-working space for studies, creativity and work. It used to be innovation, then became trendy and later 鈥� good business.
On the 1st of September, on Knowledge Day RUDN held the initiation ceremony. Future lawyers, medical doctors, agrarians, ecologists, philologists, mathematicians and engineers are making their first steps to their future career and their professional dream.

30 June - 3 July. RUDN hosted the All-Russia Forum of international senior students of Russian universities. The Forum was aimed at strengthening educational and intercultural dialogue of young people from different countries
26 June, professor Thais Russomano visited RUDN Mission Control Center. She is first woman-doctor in Latin America, advisor of Mars-1 project, expert in space medicine, founder and director of InnovaSpace 鈥� international agency consulting governments and national space agencies in the field of space research, space biology and medicine.
The selection of candidates for the nomination 鈥淩UDN Graduate 100,000鈥� was done in 2 stages 鈥� dozens of candidates were suggested by faculties and institutes and 9 were finally chosen.
8 June, 2017, QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the 14th issue of the QS World University Rankings.
RUDN entered Times Higher Education (THE) Top-100 in 鈥淪tudent-to-staff ratio鈥�. The list of best world-class universities has been published on the THE official web-site, where RUDN University is #96.
