The Peoples鈥� Friendship University of聽Russia (RUDN) again has the name of聽Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of聽the Democratic Republic of聽the Congo, who has become a聽symbol of聽the African peoples鈥� struggle for independence. This was announced on聽Thursday by聽Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The new name will be officially used after the amendments to the Charter are registered and entered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
