Svetlana Smirnova, Professor at the Institute of Law, awarded honorary title "Honored Scholar of the Russian Federation"
Svetlana Smirnova - Head of the Department of forensic expert activity of RUDN Law Institute, Director of the Russian Federal Center for Forensic Expertise under the RF Ministry of Justice, Doctor of Law, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation.
Honorary title "Honored Worker of Science" is awarded to outstanding scientists for their personal merits in the development of priority areas of science and technology, successful implementation and use of scientific developments, creation of scientific intersectoral schools, as well as the development and implementation of research activities in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation involving students and young scientists.
RUDN University is entering the final stage of its 2026 admission campaign. International applicants continue to submit their applications, demonstrating strong interest in the university’s academic programs. This year, RUDN has introduced three new fields of study for international applicants: "Urban Planning" ("Architectural and Urban Planning Design" program), "Creative Writing" ("Screenwriting for Film and Television" program), and "Design" ("Industrial Design" program).
Winners of the “BE MASTER” and “PROJECT YOURSELF” grant projects will receive certificates for 100,000 and 130,000 rubles. Foreign graduates from Ghana, Zambia, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Nigeria, Peru, Syria, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will start their studies at RUDN University.
Starting from August 10, the second Online RUDN University Olympiad is held for foreign citizens wishing to enroll in 2020 to study at RUDN University under the bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s programs. The winners of the Olympiad can study in the chosen major at the expense of the budget of the Russian Federation, prize-winners get a tuition discount.
