Experts present LSZ spine endoscopic corrector, developed in the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics
Reports on the use of the spine corrector in the treatment of children’s scoliosis were made by Professor A. A. Laka, Professor M.T. Sampiev, and Dr. D. Keizer (Germany).
Doctors from Germany, England, Belgium, Brazil and Spain attended. Russian professors’ master class where the latter demonstrated the main stages of surgical intervention, which aroused great interest among specialists who asked to implement this technology in their countries, create training centers, publish books and manuals on this technology. RUDN professor N. Zagorodny expressed hope for the great success of Russian innovations in the field of scoliosis treatment both in children and adults, as well as fruitful cooperation with SIGNUS.
Sergey Ivanov, a scholar from St. Petersburg, has been named the first winner of RUDN University’s International Prize for Scientific Achievements in Mathematics, worth 5 million rubles.
