In the fight with the teams of RF MFA, Lomonosov MSU, MGIMO, Gubkin Oil and Gas University, RANEPA, Foreign Trade Academy and MISIS RUDN male teams got the following places:
13 - 15 April, RUDN Medical Institute hosted VIII International conference «SCIENCE 4 HEALTH 2017» together with Semmelweis University (Budapest, Hungary). During the conference professor Merkeli Bela, Vice-rector for clinical activity, Director of Cardio-vascular center of Semmelweis University was awarded the title RUDN Doctor Honoris Causa.
The 90-minutes gala performance 芦Discover the World in One University禄 features folklore, pop and academic vocal, dances of the peoples of the world, ethnic musical instruments and songs from famous musicals.
13 April, students from Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America will perform on the stage of UNESCO Headquarters sharing their cultures with the audience.
Schools «Ecology of the future» and «Modern social communications» for prospective master students will start work at RUDN University.
In March, Larisa Efremova, Vice-Rector for international academic mobility met representatives of diplomatic missions of 13 Latin American countries. Members of university staff also participated in the meeting.
28 - 29 March, RUDN hosted Career Days for students of humanitarian, economic, law, natural-scientific and engineering specialties. Natalia Neporada, Head of Employment Department, noted that this event gives students an opportunity to discuss potential employment and choose the most prospective career directions.
In March, the Russian delegation made a presentation on the topic “International Education in Russia” in the frame of an international educational exhibition ARA1E 2017 (Conference & Exhibition, Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
Since March 2016, RUDN has started to attract foreign experts through the sector of marketing and recruitment, which has helped employ 11 experts in the first 6 months of work. Due to big changes in RUDN and transition to research type university, HR department has to attract internationally recognized specialists to research, teaching and administrative positions.
In 1971, Valentina Ryazanova, inspired by the social events of the university 鈥滿elodies of the continents鈥�, decided to create an ensemble 鈥淩hythms of Friendship鈥�. The main goal was to unite dancing students from different parts of the world. Since then the ensemble has become the landmark of RUDN.
In March, representatives of People's Vietnam Police Academy visited RUDN. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Suan Yem, Academy President. Mr. Yem was accompanied by Dr. Phung Wang Hao, the director of the scientific institute of police.
25 March, IWEB Head of program “International economic security” Maria Glinskaya, PhD delivers a lecture “Economic security: essence, main notions, development prospects”. The speaker will explain the notion of economic security of a state and its components, main interests and threats and the Russian economic security strategy.
