Research Grants in RUDN University
RUDN University supports researchers in carrying out research projects and achieving tangible results for the advancement of science, economy and society. Research teams can obtain funding from Grant Support System of RUDN University or receive methodological guidance from the Research Division when applying for external competitions (for further information, please contact grants-science@rudn.ru).
Student initiatives are also supported by the university through competitions for research papers, innovation projects, case study championships and the accelerator programme.
RUDN creates an environment for the development and support of innovative projects, fundamental and applied research, project activities, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as meaningful and useful initiatives.

Project implementation period: 2 to 4 years.
Budget: from 1.5 million to 10 million rubles per year.
Eligibility
- Citizenship and current employment with RUDN University do not affect eligibility when applying.
- If approved, employment with the university will be required.
Application timeline
- Call for applications — by 15 July each year.
- Application deadline — by 15 September each year.
