Representative of the Universite libre de Bruxelles made an official visit to RUDN University
February 7, 2017 Christine Tithat the official representative of the Universite libre de Bruxelles (216 QS World University Rankings/ official page http://www.ulb.ac.be/) visited Philological faculty of RUDN University.
RUDN University and the Universite libre de Bruxelles have a long experience of cooperation, which was expanded after last year’s visit of the Belgian delegation to RUDN University for meeting with the Rector Vladimir M. Filippov.
This time Kristin visited various departments of Philological faculty, met with teachers and students. She participated in some meetings with the Dean of the Philological faculty V.V. Barabash, where they discussed the forms and areas of cooperation between higher education institutions in the field of student exchange, joint research programs, relevant projects, dual diplomas and others.
Inventors from 26 countries and 35 regions of Russia presented more than 500 projects at the XVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies “Archimedes”. 340 projects belong to Russian participants, and their foreign colleagues — 215. RUDN University initiatives were awarded two gold medals.
RUDN hosted the XXVII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Global Economy”. The conference was attended by more than 500 experts from 15 leading universities, including Brazil, China, Turkey and South Africa. The focus of the meeting was on cooperation between the countries of Greater Eurasia, interaction in the CIS and EAEU, as well as digitalization and deglobalization in the context of the multipolar world.
