International scientific seminar 芦Alternatives for World Economic Development禄

On the 2nd of October Moscow State University hosted the first seminar of a series of international scientific events 芦Alternatives for World Economic Development禄. The organizers of the event were the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University, the Center for International Collaboration in Economic Research (RUDN University).

Scientists specializing in ensuring financial stability in Russia and abroad took part at the seminar. Among them were: Reiner Martin (Lead Economist of the Joint Vienna Institute), Mikhail Stolbov (Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Applied Economics at MGIMO) and Gayane Oganesyan (Associate Professor of the Institute of Economics, RAS ). Mikhail Golovnin (Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, First Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences).

The challenge of the Millennium. One step closer to the solution
In聽2017, RUDN University scientists constructed a聽new explicit second-order precision difference scheme using modern computer algebra methods for聽2-dimensional聽Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) [1]. This year, our mathematicians used a聽new scheme [2] to聽construct a聽numerical solution to聽the Cauchy problem with initial data (for t=0) as聽satisfying the continuity equation. Scientists managed to聽achieve previously unattainable accuracy of聽the continuity equation.

Egyptian scientist Abdelraouf Masoud Ali, associate professor at the Department of Environmental Management, Institute of Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the 2024 Egyptian State Incentive Prize in Agricultural Sciences.

RUDN University have won Two Gold medals at the XXVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies 鈥淎rchimedes 2025鈥�

Inventors from 26 countries and 35 regions of Russia presented more than 500 projects at the XVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies 鈥淎rchimedes鈥�. 340 projects belong to Russian participants, and their foreign colleagues 鈥� 215. RUDN University initiatives were awarded two gold medals.
