The delegation from the People鈥檚 Republic of China visited RUDN University
At the oficial meeting participated representatives of the leadership of the philological faculty - Dean, Professor V.V. Barabash and Acting Deputy Dean for International Activities M.A. Talysheva. The delegation was led by the head of the Guangdong International Education Center, Huang Shaoman. The delegation also included professors and representatives of the leadership of Sun Yat-sen University (http://www.sysu.edu.cn/2012/en/index.htm) and Hualian College.
Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou Shi, Guangdong Sheng) is one of the largest public research universities in China, known worldwide and occupies 295 positions in the QS WUR. During the meeting took place an exchange of views on the cooperation of the philological faculty with Chinese universities, the prospects for the development of exchange programs for students and teachers, and future development of linguistic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
Sergey Ivanov, a scientist from St. Petersburg, became the first winner of the RUDN University International Prize for scientific achievements and merits in the field of mathematics in the amount of 5 million rubles.
Egyptian scientist Abdelraouf Masoud Ali, associate professor at the Department of Environmental Management, Institute of Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the 2024 Egyptian State Incentive Prize in Agricultural Sciences.
Inventors from 26 countries and 35 regions of Russia presented more than 500 projects at the XVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies 鈥淎rchimedes鈥�. 340 projects belong to Russian participants, and their foreign colleagues 鈥� 215. RUDN University initiatives were awarded two gold medals.
