RUDN signed a Memorandum with Assam Science and Technology University on cooperation in science and education
Opening remarks were made by the Vice-rector for international Affairs of the RUDN Larisa Efremova and the Vice-rector of the Assam Science and Technology University, a graduate of the faculty of physical, of the Faculty of Science RUDN University Dhiraj Bora. The meeting was attended by Vladimir Dementiev, Director Of the Russian center for science and culture in Calcutta. He noted the level of training of RUDN University graduates, who are valued in the labor market in India.
The signing of a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of science and education will allow RUDN and Assam Science and Technology University to implement scientific and educational activities in the following areas: academic mobility of students and teachers, creation of joint double degree programs.
Sergey Ivanov, a scientist from St. Petersburg, became the first winner of the RUDN University International Prize for scientific achievements and merits in the field of mathematics in the amount of 5 million rubles.
Egyptian scientist Abdelraouf Masoud Ali, associate professor at the Department of Environmental Management, Institute of Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the 2024 Egyptian State Incentive Prize in Agricultural Sciences.
Inventors from 26 countries and 35 regions of Russia presented more than 500 projects at the XVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies 鈥淎rchimedes鈥�. 340 projects belong to Russian participants, and their foreign colleagues 鈥� 215. RUDN University initiatives were awarded two gold medals.
